DU Confers Honorary Degree On Bangabandhu

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been posthumously awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by Dhaka University (DU). He was awarded this degree in a special convocation organized at the university playground on Sunday (October 29).

Bangabandhu's daughter and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received this degree on Bangabandhu's behalf at 11:58 a.m. At 11:59 a.m., the Prime Minister signed the registrar's book on behalf of Bangabandhu.

Earlier, at 11:57 in the morning, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Akhtaruzzaman announced the award of this degree to Bangabandhu.
